ABOUT ME

My name is Anca and I keep seeing the same movie play out:

A startup grows fast. Momentum is high. Culture is great because everyone just gets it. Then you hit 30, 40, 50 people, and suddenly things start breaking.
 

Hiring takes three months instead of three weeks. Top performers quietly burn out. Founders are stuck in every decision because no one knows who owns what. Someone asks "What's my career path here?" and there's no good answer. Compensation becomes a mess of individual negotiations, and suddenly you've got pay gaps you didn't mean to create.
 

That's where I come in.
 

I've spent 15+ years building People systems, across corporations, SaaS startups, and global remote teams. I've scaled teams from 50 to 160, hired across the globe and 14 different countries, rolled out HRIS platforms, and designed performance frameworks that leaders actually use (not ones that gather dust in a Google Drive).

Outside work, I'm raising two teenagers, which has taught me more about grit, resilience, and doing essential work that goes unacknowledged than any corporate training ever could. With teens, drama is inevitable. Everything is a crisis. Emotions are high. That's just the reality.


In my People work? No drama required. I'm not here for office politics, ego management, or turning straightforward problems into theatrical productions. I work fractionally because most companies at this stage don't need a full-time VP of People. You need someone who can diagnose what's broken, build what's missing, and leave you self-sufficient, or help you get the right Head of People. 

I'm not selling you software. I'm not pushing my favorite framework. I assess your reality and build lean, practical systems that fit your stage and culture, not corporate bloat that kills startup energy.
 

My philosophy is "Build while you run". I ship solutions. I seize momentum. And I'm completely dedicated to the projects I'm working on, because half-finished People work creates more problems than it solves.
